Its time for my annual review of the best NFL Draft Web Sites on the internet. Last year was my first year doing this when I rated the Best NFL Draft Web Sites for 2006 . I had such tremendous feedback I thought I would make this an annual event. So now with another year under my belt I thought I would rate the top NFL Draft Web Sites for 2007. This year I decided to try to make it a little more scientific. read more »

If we learned anything about the football in 2007, we were reminded that the slate is wiped clean each year in the NFL. Teams that barely kept their head above water in 2006 -- the Packers, Browns and Jaguars for example -- came roaring back in 2007. The structure of the NFL is designed to reward teams that play poorly and move the league towards parity.
With no statistical point to make, I've reviewed the recent history of teams that went 4-12 and how they did the following season. You'll notice a few teams that made huge jumps but you'll also notice that most teams won only a couple more games than they did the previous season. If the Chiefs ended next season at .500, I'd be very satisfied. read more »
I'm sure everyone will be on the collective edge of their seats for preseason football. So, I thought I'd follow the lead of Daily Norseman and Big Cat Country, who published the times preseason games will be re-shown on the NFL Network. The Network will be airing 54 preseason games in 26 days, so if you REALLY love football, it's definitely worth checking out. All times listed are PACIFIC. read more »
And with the 48th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select:
Oklahoma CB Reggie Smith
Chris with the pick:
With CB DeAngelo Hall now an Oakland Raider, it makes a lot of sense for the Falcons to use their third pick of the second round on a solid cornerback. The current bunch of CBs and DBs on the Falcons are extremely young, meaning a player like Reggie Smith could step in immediately amidst the current competition.
A first-team All-Big 12 selection, this is about the time in the draft that most have Smith going. A good value for the Falcons third pick of the second round.
And with the 46th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select:
Oklahoma ILB Curtis Lofton
jimme with the pick:
He is the BPA at this time, and I'm not overly impressed with the Cards LBers. Lofton should be able to play inside in the Cards hybrid defense, both in the 4-3 and 3-4. read more »
It's been previously reported that San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl linebacker P atrick Willis is an apparent fan of the short practices by Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy who's acting as head coach for the NFC squad in the Pro Bowl. If Willis is representative of the rest of the Pro Bowl players, McCarthy might be winning over the hearts of some potential free agents in Hawaii this week. Yesterday's Pro Bowl practice, like practices all week long, have been short. read more »
